In partnership with AMVRP and Howard University Gerontology Center, Youth leaders in Montgomery County will work with Seniors 55+ collecting data on issues effecting their communities, develop interactive websites, help with podcasts and the like. Areas of concentration include Social Media Marketing, Graphic Design, Technical Writing, and Website/Blog Development)

100 Round Drum Circle

The main goal of the Restorative Drum Circle Program is to foster multigenerational interaction, provide mentoring for youth aged 12-18, and alleviate social isolation in the community, particularly amongst seniors aged 65 and above. The program aims to empower both youth and seniors, giving them an increased sense of purpose and function within their communities. By creating a safe and supportive environment where participant can freely express themselves through drumming, dance, and expressive writing , the program encourages mutual growth, understanding, and collaboration between youth and seniors, leading to a stronger, more inclusive, and compassionate societal function.
100 Round Circle is a youth led multigenerational outreach program. On April 6th, 2024, Youth leaders from the Prince Georges County branch of the 100 Round Drum Circle attended the Solutions to Heal and Restore the Soul of our Community Conference at Howard University.

100 Fathers Inc.- Community Partner

Sounds of my People Music and Arts Enterprises is working with 100 Fathers Inc. as a sponsor for our Community of Caring-Stop the Violence Initiative. From Conferences to Solutions, Outreach programs and other community solutions are the goal of our collaboration.
Youth participation is one of our key goals. On April 6th, 2024, in partnership with Howard University School of Social Work, Sounds of my People Music and Arts Enterprises facilitated the Conference that brought together cutting edge community leaders and researchers and lead the youth leadership break out sessions for Restorative Drum Circles.

Research Based Community Outreach Programs

Sounds of my People Music and Arts Enterprises partners wih Non- profit organizations, Schools, Churches, Community Centers, Senior Centers and the like to sponsor our research based outreach programs.
In partnership with AMVRP, Sounds of my People Music and Arts Enterprises offers community outreach programs that are multigenerational, designed to touch community members of all age levels and build relationships to strengthen and restore our communities.
